
Secondment opportunity with MEIA
Are you a public sector employee seeking a new professional challenge? The Malta Entertainment Industry and Arts Association (MEIA) invites expressions of interest for a secondment opportunity. This scheme allows eligible public sector workers to be seconded to a voluntary organisation of their choice for up to 12 months (renewable), while retaining their basic salary on a full-time or part-time basis.
Secondment with MEIA
MEIA is seeking a motivated and passionate individual, ideally on a full-time basis, to support its mission of strengthening Malta’s entertainment and creative sectors.
As part of the team, the selected candidate will:
• Administer Finances
• Apply for local and European Funding
• Coordinate committee meetings
• Manage memberships and communications
• Manage administrative duties and delegating tasks to our part time administrator
• Manage relations with Ministries and public institutions
• Manage relations with partners and sponsors
• Support in project management and logistics for events
This is a remote-first role, with some in-person presence required at events.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in administration and project management
• Qualifications in finance, management, media, or communications, which are considered an asset
• A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach to work
• Experience in cultural management is preferred.
