Each membership category is designed to reflect your professional position and ensure you receive the right level of support, representation, and access to resources.

This membership is open to full-time and part-time students pursuing studies in the arts, culture, media, or related fields. It’s ideal for those starting their journey in the creative sector who want to engage, learn, and participate in shaping the industry’s future.

Eligibility:

  • Individuals enrolled in a recognised secondary, post-secondary, or tertiary programme

  • Valid student ID or proof of enrolment required

For professionals working in a personal or freelance capacity
This category is for individual artists, cultural practitioners, freelancers, educators, producers, designers, and other creative professionals working independently, employed or on a project basis. It offers professional support, community, and representation for your individual practice.

For foundations, collectives, NGOs, and small creative enterprises
This membership is designed for formally registered organisations or initiatives operating on a small scale, including foundations, art collections, NGOs, or creative businesses with limited personnel. It offers structured support and visibility while recognising the specific needs of smaller entities within the sector.

Eligibility:

  • Registered organisations such as foundations, collections, NGOs, or creative enterprises

  • Involves up to 5 active people (employees, board members, or regular collaborators)

  • Operates on a smaller or project-based scale

For established non- for-profit organisations or for-profit enterprises operating at scale
This membership is for larger organisations with a defined structure and wider operational reach, including cultural organisations, festivals, venues, agencies, production companies, and NGOs with significant activity and staffing. It is designed for entities playing a key role in Malta’s creative ecosystem who seek institutional representation, strategic engagement, and sector influence.

Eligibility:

  • Registered organisations with 6 or more people involved (employees, board members, or regular collaborators)

  • Operates year-round with structured programming or permanent staff
